Here are the Hinckley CRC results from the South Pennine Road Club 25 TT on the A25/11 course at Etwall.
Following their ride just two weeks earlier on the A25/11 at Etwall, Hinckley CRC’s Bill Harris and Joe Murray returned to the Burton to Uttoxeter based course for the South Pennine 25. The full field of riders were rewarded with very warm conditions with only a light breeze against on the return leg and the improved weather saw some very fast times and improvements throughout the field. Harris improved by over a minute from his last visit to record an excellent 52.13 good enough for a position just outside the top 10 whilst Murray set a new personal best at 52.46 breaking his previous marker set way back in 1993.There were some very fast times at the sharp end of the result board with scratch rider and prolific winner Matt Bottrill (De Rosa RT) storming around in the uncomfortably warm conditions in an incredible 49.04. |
