New map shop opens for borough |

A new service has been launched by the Borough Council to give residents and businesses a chance to buy Ordnance Survey maps and high quality aerial photos of sites throughout England and Wales.
The map shop service provides images in both digital and 'hard copy' formats, while there is even a professional framing service available for the aerial photographs. For special interest users, the council is also able to supply infra-red colour imagery and height data (5m digital terrain model - not suitable for surveying). Map printing up to 46 inches wide and 98 inches long (117cm x 250cm) is also available at the council offices. Digital images are delivered electronically via e-mail (subject to file size), or on CD or DVD, and the new service is being offered in conjunction with Latitude Maps and Bluesky International.
