Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident of burglary in Lutterworth. The incident took place between 9pm on Thursday May 1, 2008 and 10am on Thursday May 8, 2008 when thieves broke into the hut for Lutterworth Scout Group on Waterworks Lane.
A number of windows to the hut were broken and a laptop was stolen which was later found outside destroyed. The cost to repair the damage is very expensive to a group who rely on donations for funding. "We would urge anyone who knows anything about this incident to contact us as soon as possible. Even the smallest details can be key to an investigation so I would ask anyone with any information to get in touch."
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 2243 Paul Cumbers from Harborough local policing unit on 0116 222 2222, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer's identification number 2243.
