Castle Mead Radio is staffed by an enthusiastic team of volunteers who give their time freely each  week to provide programmes to the patients and staff of the Hinckley Hospital, The Health Centre and the Hinckley and Bosworth Community Hospital on The Ashby Road.
Broadcasting from the Edwards Family Studio in Mount Road, Castle Mead Radio has proved that it is a hospital radio service second to none.
Each week it provides a wide programming choice, from general music, request shows, news and sport to an extensive local news service provided each weekend. The station prides itself on the fact that it is local and endeavours to provide news and information that is relevant to the patients hopefully making them feel closer to home and consequently enhancing their stay.
