It may have been a meaningless match and the players might have been just going through the motions, but Hinckley United's 0-0 'bore snore draw' away at Alfreton Town was in fact their 9th game unbeaten in succession.

Spring had finally arrived for the 3rd round of the Hinckley CRC Tuesday Night 10 Series. The icy winds and driving rain of the previous 2 weeks had relented and a mild sunny evening greeted the 41 riders.

Callum Lloyds solitary goal for Hinckley United meant they finally secured their Conference North status by beating Vauxhall Motors 0-1 at Rivacre Park.

On a wind swept Sunday Hinckley Under 7’s, sponsored by Hinckley Round Table, persevered to become joint winners of the ‘Complimentary Plate’ trophy at the Leicestershire Tag Tournament. Despite cold and wet conditions Hinckley’s youngsters played with determination and guts.
